I am at the point of what else can I do? I have tried to work with the district. That didn't work. I've tried to talk to the board leadership. That hasn't worked. So then I started doing public comments and even a protest and it is still not changing," Mullins said. "To me, we need to try something different to see if we can become effective at solving the problems of SPS.

"We made our decision of endorsement based on the defense of labor and workers' rights in the SPS school system," Jeremy Manley (President).
"We feel that these three candidates best represent what our membership has expressed to us over the last year as being their concerns and the issues that have continually been brought to our attention," he said.
